Redeemed Hope…

ImageYikes! Living; should be defined as, as I breathe I will feel. And in feeling, it is not prejudice to only good, but it is familiar with heart wrenching, soul twisting emotion. It’s raw. And it doesn’t apologize. But do we live with it? Embrace? What do you do with emotion? Carry it around and let everyone around you pay for the way you feel? Bury it and move on? or Carry on hoping it will eventually fade? Well, not that my way or this way for that matter is absolute, but  it worked.

Music has found its way into my emotions, healing it. But not just any type of music. It’s music that tells of truth. This morning, after a night of woes, and what not’s. I fought through carrying what I could no longer bear. And to bare my “soul” I felt as if a hope I had was crushed, and as I thought it the redeeming words from Hillsong Live’s new song “Anchor” broke the barrier between my defeat and victory, “There is hope in the promise of the cross, you gave everything to save the world you Love and this hope is an anchor for my soul, Our God will stand unshakeable. Your name is higher, Your name is greater, All my hope is in You, Your word unfailing, Your promise unshaken.”

Hope no longer lost in disappointment but redeemed in Christ; through music that carries hope and leads me to His word. Promises, of this I am hopeful.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf, since he became a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek….” {Hebrews 6:19, NET}
