I find myself running into a lot of obstacles. I mean things can be going well then BAM. I hit a road block and have to divert my plan.
Life never goes as planned for many. But it doesn’t mean don’t plan.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 [ESV]

And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Have a vision. But be prepared to go to plan B, C, D and so on if plan A doesn’t work out. I’ve learned that God sometimes takes away to add better. And while that may not be the case for all circumstances, I do know this, no good thing will He keep from us.

I can’t say that I always jump up and down when there is a decrease or change because of an obstacle, but I can say that decrease or obstacle always makes room for heaven to come to earth in my life.

So, as it relates to obstacles, think of it as a diversion to a better plan to reach your goals. Still carry out the vision even if you have to take another route to get there. This year and the years to come, I’m all about getting back up again and seeking the Lords leading.

Take heart friends, not every obstacle means its the end of the road.
